Hi, I am Ankit!

I’m a data scientist with over five years of experience crafting end-to-end deep learning solutions to tackle real-world problems.My journey into data science was a bit unconventional. I completed my M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, but I was always fascinated by neural networks and the idea of machines interpreting the world like humans. This curiosity led me to teach myself deep learning concepts after my office hours, and I even started participating in data science competitions on platforms like Kaggle for fun. This rekindled my love for programming, and I eventually transitioned into a data science career.

What I've Been Up To:

• Implementing and training deep learning models from scratch, mostly using PyTorch and Python
• Handling large datasets, building end-to-end pipelines and setting up near real-time anomoly detection systems
• Currently, I’m working @ JPMorganChase, focusing on projects related to Generative AI (LLMs), developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) based conversational chatbots and search engines
